The Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Vital Kamerhe, on the formal instruction of the President of the Republic, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, suspended Mr. Lumeya Dhu Maleghi from his functions as Minister of Land Affairs for insubordination and his refusal to report Ministerial Orders taken by him in flagrant violation of the law, the rights of Congolese and foreigners on the property through subdivisions to prohibited places and the expropriation of third parties, announced Wednesday, Vital Kamerhe on the Congolese National Radio and Television (RTNC).
According to the chief of staff of the President of the Republic, the Minister of Land Affairs, Lumeya Dhu Maleghi is placed at the disposal of the Prosecutor General of the Republic at the Court of Cassation for the opening of the judicial file put in his charge.
Vital Kamerhe recalled that he sent, in the name of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, Head of the Government, Bruno Tshibala, a correspondence instructing him, to suspend any outstanding case, the Minister of Land Affairs, for facts accused, he did not make the required decision.
The President of the Republic said to Vital Kamerhe, as Chief Executive and who ensures the proper functioning of institutions, ethics and the fight against impunity of public officials, assumed by bringing into justice the concerned minister, before his natural judge.
The Prosecutor General of the Republic at the Court of Cassation will begin the legal proceedings on Thursday about the Minister of Land Affairs, accused before the Court of Cassation, presumed guilty under the principle of presumption of innocence.
In this register, the President of the Republic also suspended Daniel Mukoko Samba, Chief executive of the Commercial Corporation of Transport and Ports (SCTP) including his Deputy for embezzlement of public funds.
It is the same of Oscar Manikunda, Chief executive of the Regulatory Authority of Posts and Telecommunications, suspended from all his functions and whose interim is provided by his deputy, Vital Kamerhe announced. The ARPTC is a public institution under the direct authority of the Presidency of the Republic, he said.
