The President of the Republic Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo promised, in an interview broadcast by an international radio, to "tackle all that degrades Congolese citizens and contributes to weaken the development of our country".
Among the anti values he promises to unbolt, the President of the Republic quotes, among other things, bullying, corruption become endemic, financial mismanagement, impunity, the hunt for opponents.
According to the Head of State, there is no question today to dive back into the past. Any political coalition must henceforth be made around this new vision and this new approach which is his.
The President of the Republic further explained that this is not about individual problems with anyone. Rather, it is about seeing our past that is made of a lot of bad things, he said.
"Right now, we are starting a new era and we hope that there will be no more bad practices of the past," President Felix Tshisekedi said.
If this new vision is confusing people, he said it is that they are "malicious people" or people who thought that "I was going to be a complacent President who would continue with these bad things of the past. And the President of the Republic to hammer: "I say no, I will not accept that. I'm not going to fall back into these things anymore. "
