Artist-musician LulendoMatumona, alias "General Defao", returns next Tuesday to Kinshasa, from Nairobi, Kenya, after several years of absence in his country, the DRC, confirmed Tuesday the president of Union of Congolese musicians (UMUCO), Verckys Kiamwangana Mateta, in an interview with the ACP.
The latter confided that a delegation of UMUCO will make a trip to Nairobi on current July 21 to meet the Congolese star, with whom they will return together Kinshasa, the Congolese capital.
The return of Defao, he revealed, is motivated by the materialization of a contract signed between this music artist and his new producer, relating to several productions across the DRC, before stating that, the former teammate of Debaba and Carlito Lassa, plans in his diary, to deliver some popular concerts on Boulevard Triomphal to mark his return on the scene of Congolese music.
General Defao, is a singer-songwriter who started music in 1976, in small groups of different neighborhoods in Kinshasa, before joining five years later, Le Grand ZaikoWawa, of guitarist Felix Manuaku.
From 1983 to 1991, he made the beautiful days of the Choc Stars group, alongside Bozi Boziana before creating in 1991 his own orchestra the "Big Stars". In his assets, the Congolese singer has performed together with the famous Carlito and Debaba (deceased), the song "Kopalangana te" (1988). There are also produced hit songs like "Amour Scolaire" and "Engunduka".
