During this talk of almost two hours, Central African president Faustin-Archange Touadera and Congolese Felix Tshisekedi mentioned several questions, in particular health and safety. The two presidents also spoke about the pandemia of Covid-19 since their countries which count confirmed cases share the same border.
In spite of the medical restrictions related to this pandemia, Felix Tshisekedi carries out a charged diary these last days. He recently received the heads of the religious confessions within the framework of sensitizing against this pandemia of Coronavirus.
Tuesday April 21, 2020, in the same residence of N’sele, he received his predecessor, Joseph Kabila where a 4 hours exchange had taken place about this pandemia.
The two personalities had reiterated their call to national cohesion to face this disease which already killed 25 people in democratic Republic of Congo.
Central African president Faustin-Archange Touadera thus completed his mission in DRC. It is his third visit in the Lumumba’s country since he officially took his functions of head of State of the Central African Republic in 2016.
